    Video Editing In Tricaster Mini?

    Hey VideoPhiles,

I need know if the Tricaster system (I have a mini) can let me edit video that I shoot for production.

I'm used to the VT 5 but that system just started bugging and we had to upgrade, but I don't see the Speed Editor.

Is there an equivalent here that I just can't find or am I SOL?

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

You're better off getting a third party editing program
    Tricaster 460 Advanced Edition 2, Tricaster 40 V1
    2 Sony PXW-X70 Cameras, 2 Panasonic AG-HMC40P Cameras
VSE 2.5 - VSE Advanced Edition, A bunch of Doo-Dads and cables

I also still use VT5 and SpeedEdit. It still does mostly what I need to do. I think you can go to the Newtek website and still download it as add-on software. That's what I did so I could add it to my Tricaster 460.

What do you suggest as a good alternative?

I use Adobe Premiere, but the 2015 version. It does everything that I need and plays nice with the Tricaster.
