    import vertex color

    Does anybody know of a way to import vertex color into LW (preferably 2015 or 2018) from zbrush?

    My old plugin TrueOBJImport does that.

    I made adjustments for one of clients to support this mode.

    If you're interested, then send me test object exported from Z-Brush with vertex color maps, and registration info from reg info like during previous purchases from you.
    It will speed up process.

    Thanks Sensai, I need it for mac but have another route. I can polypaint and convert to texture. Then goz to lw. In lightwave I can use apply texture to vertex map plugin.
    only downfall is it is not automatic on import. A little timeconsuming for multiple meshes from zbrush.

    Send me test object in .obj file format to my e-mail anyway. I will check whether this feature is still working. It was made 10 years ago after all..

    If zbrush has support for the .ply format you can test that, it has vertex color support.

    maybe this is something that could work.

    Here's another method going through meshlab.

    Just click on "Apply to surface", and it'll add Color Vertex node to surface Node Editor, like here:
