I just produced about 4 hours of streaming on FB using the custom profile with no issues. But I'm not sure about the cut off date that is being talked about and whether it will work after that.

I can say without any exaggeration that Engineering is burning the midnight oil to ensure a resolution to this issue before the deadline. Please stay tuned.

If you are using custom settings for the FB (what ever the reason), currently the FB server URL already give you rtmps link, i.e., rtmps://live-api-s.facebook.com:443/rtmp/ (see attached). You'll need to make sure you can stream out of port 443 on your ISP. Anyway, I've updated my TC mini AE2 to the TC latest version 5-1-181220 and it fixes FB streaming API! Now I can stream to the FB page that I managed. Mind you, I was so excited and run the update and at first the update messed up my TC. But with help from the newtek support (I needed to update Intel GPU driver and Nvidia driver) first. All is well now.

I can tell you that on my Tricaster Mini with Standard Edtion, I am unable to stream using the secure connection. I also do not have an option on my Stream connection to do "Secure." Thankfully its May 2 and I can still stream via the unsecure method right now. Hopefully this gets addressed for us standard users at some point.

The fix for 2-6 (standard edition) is at the QA stage right now. Fingers crossed ...

You can still use a custom profile

You can still setup the FB custom profile. As long as you can stream out via port 443 on your ISP, it should work.
