Thread: wierd problem with Lightwave 7.5c

    Exclamation wierd problem with Lightwave 7.5c

    I had a demo version of lightwave updated to 7.5c and everythign worked fine. then i bought lightwave 7.5 and got it yesterday. I installed the 7.5c undate but when i am in the scence part(where you do animation, not the modeler) when i move a object it flickers and when i anaimte fast on a object it never shows up becuase it flicker so fast it cant show up. Please help me with this problem if you know how to fix it. thank You.

    My pc configuration:
    OS = Windows 2000 Pro
    Processor = intel P4 2.8 GHz
    Ram = 1GIGABIT or ddr pc3200 ram
    HardDrive = Serail 120GBit harddrive computer
    Video Card = NVidia Geforce FX 5800 128 MB RAM
    eveythiny else like sound, ubd, is on board

    That can happen if the bounding box threshold in the display properties is set lower than your poly count. Try setting it to a high number.

    Hey thanks that works but what is a goo number to have it have, i mean with it effect me if i have it at like 100,000?

    I have mine set to 1,000,000. If you run into a situation where your scene is so large that manipulating it with the opengl display becomes unresponsive you can lower it and your objects will show as bounding boxes while manipulating the scene.
