    Question Tricaster Mini encoder

    Hay all,

I'm in search of a encoder that will work with the Mini, the problem I'm having is the audio sounds choppy on the IP stream because the Mini embedded audio on the HDMI output sampled at 96k, I have been told it can't be changed and I can't find a encoder that supports this on the input. All the encoders I have found only support 44.1.and 48k sampling.

Anybody else out there found a solution to this problem?

    Thank you,

    Gary

Internally the TriCaster works with audio in floating point and high sample rate, but the hardware outputs on the unit work at a 48kHz sample rate. They would work with any audio device that supports 48kHz audio.

    Kanep,

Thanks for the response, in talking to NewTek support they say the Mini will only do 96k sampling, below is a response I received from support. If you know a way to change the sampling rate to 48k I would really appreciate if you could share the steps to do so.

    From NewTek support.
You are correct that it is 96Khz, I just confirmed on my end as well. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

    Thank you,

    Gary

There is no way to change the sample rate on your Mini.
