    NDIlib_routing_create returning NULL??

We've had a problem reported with one of our apps, and a check through our logs shows that the NDIlib_routing_create API call is returning NULL, rather than an instance.

I don't yet have any details of the parameters being passed, but a heads-up on the possible causes of this would be useful.

I'd expect using a blank name, or the same output name twice would do it - but are there any other obvious failure modes?

The main cause would be centered around the name: you've specified a name but the name is in use already. Another would be it failed to find a port number to successfully bind to. This is less likely.

    Thanks very much, that's helpful.

It would be very handy if a specific error code could be returned or made available via a getLastError function.
