VUE + Plant Factory released today

The new version VUE was released today.

The new features VDB Import / Export works well, Meta Cloud objects can be imported into LightWave as VDB volumes and any object can be converted into a Meta Cloud when imported into Vue.

The software has an updated UI.

It now supports PBR and Substance Materials.

They have renewed all their online services.

VUE and Plant Factory are now bundled Subscription based only.

Seen that. Yet, no news about Cornucopia. They still owe me around 100 bucks. I'll try to get in touch with them for a payment. They had asked all brokers to wait until the end of this year, but enough is enough.

I was trying to understand what the difference between Vue Creator and Vue, as far as i can see you cant export from Vue Creator. Now Creator costs $20 per month and Pro cost $75 per month. I could understand not being able to export if it was for free but not at $20 per month. Did not see anywhere about plugins though.

Pro and Enterprise include the plugins (If you're willing to pay more than the full price of a new Vue XStream license every two years).

To be honest, i don't think its worth it if i cant even export in Creator, i could understand if it was free. Thats more than the whole Adobe CC suite per month. For me World Creator or Gaea is a much better deal or even Terragen.

There was an email from E-On yesterday explaining this. If you had an account with them you need to set a new password based on whatever login ID/email you used previously. Just select "Forgot Password".

They will only have any recent purchase order history listed and not anything considered legacy.
