    Best method for spaceship modelling?

    What’s the preferred method for building a ‘star trek’ class ship.
    Particularly the main dish.
    I have been playing with box-poly/spline patching/lwcad curves.
    Can’t decide on the best approach for something like the voyager hull to get those nice curves.
