    NewTek Connect Spark Pro?

Anyone care to comment on how the Spark Pro is twice as good as the regular Spark? Is is worth being over twice the price? How does the Spark compare to Bird Dog mini or studio?

Spark Pro is 4K - THAT is the difference. And seeing as UHD has 4x the total resolution of HD, then I might say the Spark Pro is not twice as good as Spark - it is 4x better ;-)

    Thanks

Spark Pro is also full NDI, as opposed to NDI HX - so, next to no latency, very high quality image.

Okay, so we now know what is better there. What about Bird Dog? Someone mentioned it to me on here several weeks ago.

The Bird Dog converters Max out at 1080 60p where as the Spark Pro support 2160 60p.

Okay, I'll never have any need for anything up above 1080 60p as my mini won't even accept that signal.
Above they say that NDI Full is better than NDI HX. I have a question about the NewTek PTZ cam then. It says NDI-HX on the NewTek PTZ where the birddog OTZ is Full NDI. Does that mean the birddog will have less latency than the NewTek?

I really can't comment on their implementation, or how it compares, whether with respect to latency or anything else. Hopefully, it is also a very low latency unit; I see no reason to expect otherwise.

I had never even heard of Birddog until someone on this forum recommended them.
