    LW > Unity questions

I'm in the process of learning Unity. Is there a reason why a default 1m box would come into Unity with a y rotation value of 180?

By default box, do you mean a Cube from the 3D Object menu in Unity, or an imported object from LW?

A default 1m from box. I made a default box and saved it as fbx and brought that into Unity. Everything looks fine except the 180 degree value in the rotation. I'm just getting into unity so I wanna make sure I'm doing things properly. In the video course I'm watching they talk about changing the coordinate system but this looks to be a Max specific adjustment.

Like 3DS Max? Max uses Z-up, Unity uses Y-up. Rotate your pivot so Y is up and see if that fixes it.

Hi, I also noticed this - it's a limitation of the exporting process. I've built a tool that (among other things) makes this problem disappear. You might want to check it out, the thread is next to this one, here: https://forums.newtek.com/showthread...ty-Asset-Store
