    Record Settings Choices

I was wondering if we can have it so we can choose what kind of file we record to. Not that I don't love the quality of the MOVs, but everything I do outside of YouTube uploads is MPEG. I know we can export post show to whatever format we choose, but I would just like it if I can record in the format I need.

And a bit of a side question... What does AGC mean in the record settings? I see no mention of it in the manual. Thanks again.

    AGC is Automatic Gain Control.

In AE2 the file format and codec are set. The reason is to be able to perform multiple channels of recording AND still have CPU power left over to let the TriCaster do all of this things it can do. If you really need to record directly in other formats, there are external NDI recording application that give you this ability. Then you can use the performance of another system to do this task.

Here are a few you can check out.

OBS wiht NDI plug-in is another option as well.
