NewTek PTZ Camera to TriCaster 8000

Can I use the SDI output on the NewTek PTZ1 (or any other camera with 3G-SDI output) to feed a TriCaster 8000's HD-SDI inputs? Planning to use 1920x1080 from the camera.

For various reasons, we can't use NDI in this situation, but we have plentiful coax to make the connections.

    Regards,

Yes, absolutely you can use the SDI. How will you be controlling the PTZ camera?

    Thanks

Just make sure you set the dip switches on the NewTek PTZ1 to output in a compatible video resolution that the TC8000 supports (like 1080i or 1080p29.97)
