    Which in turn, is based on Disney's / Pixar's research. It makes sense, since other materials are principled, why not hair and fur, too...

    If it makes shading the hair and fur easier to set up, I'm all for it.

    Did you send it in as a feature request? (I'm guessing you did, but want to make sure...)

    Of course, then we'd need a node to do the mixed color hair, like the current one does (It's do-able with vanilla nodes, and looks nicer with compounds / nodemeister, but it is a pain to set up...) as well...

    no, i take it they read these feature requests threads.
    that said, few of the other things i posted way back got implemented.

    glad they added the transform tool though, that was >partly< my suggestion to an upgraded Translate Plus
