NDI 3.5 Tools vs NewTek Connect

    Hello,

as the new NDI 3.5 Tools are ready to use including the Scan Converter, which now does video and screen capturing:
Is there still a need for the NewTek Connect?

    Thanks for any insights.

The new NDI Tools have a lot of cool capabilities (and the price is certainly right!) ... but Connect is kind of a Swiss Army knife. I don't think you can replicate all of its capabilities using the NDI Tools.

NewTek Connect and Connect Pro work with capture cards and also allow for NDI to SDI/HDMI output, they each have different uses.
