Why is NDI HX encoding not available on Windows?

The full NDI quality is grate but using a lot of bandwidth.
The NDI low quality, is lower bandwidth, but the quality is very low..

I haven’t seen the NDI HX, but it is supposed to be full resolution,
Full frame rate, and good quality, in about 10mbps.

My question is why can’t we use the NDI HX to encode
in the Regular NDI workflow on the PC ?

NDI|HX encoding is in hardware for devices like the PTZ1 cameras and the Connect Spark. If you want NDI|HX encoding for something, I would connect a Spark to it's output.

hardware like the spark is good for one source per device.

but a complete workflow in windows, using the NDI HX with existing software like VMIX, OBS, SCAN CONVERTER would be amazing.

does NDI HX requires special hardware, or is it possible to encode it with a regular pc cpu / gpu?..

It would be great if we could choose for each source which quality do we want, full NDI or NDI HX.

Perhaps it would be better to know what your workflow needs are, 1Gb Ethernet isn't difficult to come up with and you can run multiple channels of NDI over it already.
