    Power failure during IsoCorder capture

We had a UPS fail which resulted in our computer running IsoCorder to lose power while recording. I now have the first portion of our morning's recording contained in large files that I can't play. I've heard about the trick of putting clips into a DDR on a tricaster to recover them, however the only Newtek gear I have on hand are a handful of Connect Sparks and IsoCorder. Am I out of luck here or is there another way to recover the files without having to resort to sketchy internet tools/software.

Judging by the crickets I'll say I'm probably out of luck, but I'm keeping those files in my vault in case anyone wants to be my hero!

It would not surprise me to find that Connect Pro (or possibly, the free version) uses a similar playback mechanism to TC's DDR's, and might have the same 'healing' benefits.

The free version of Connect doesn't have media playback, just the Pro version.

That's good to hear. We're actually upgrading to the Pro Version shortly, so I'll try that when we're upgraded.
