    Installation error - bonjour installer

    hello, trying to install LW 2018.0.4 on a new machine and got an error (see attached). anyone know why or how to resolve this?

    i searched the computer and there is no bonjour on it.

    I believe bonjour64.msi file belongs to ITunes.

    I think, had the same error when i installed, and did a little googling and found it has to do with ITunes some how??

    Also bonjour64 is connected to Adobe CS3 and newer programs

    Thanks, i googled it and just did a new install of bonjour and it worked fine. i got bonjour from apple's site, so it must've been the itunes one.

    Curious to why it needs the Bonjour64.msi ? for what Lightwave it needs it for ?? that's what i am curious to know.

    Still, seems like Newtek might want to reevaluate having a dependency on that file, given Bonjour isn't "automatically" installed anymore.

    If they are going to keep that dependency, then they need to include that installer as part of their distribution, or at least provide better direction to users where to find it.

    Either way, it's worth filing a bug.
