    Focus Hunting

Is anyone else having issues with the PTZ1s autofocus hunting around and going out of focus randomly?

I haven't experienced the focus issue myself, but when storing PTZ presets, if you first set focus to manual, then store the preset, it will remember that exact manual focus setting. Each of the 15 presets can be AUTO or MANUAL FOCUS, and the preset will recall the exact focus setting. For instance, create a Preset with manual focus and save, then assign SAME position to another preset, but purposely set manually out of focus. When you toggle between the two presets (camera does not move) you will see that the focus change is VERY quick, snaps right to your preset in less than a second. So maybe try that rather than Auto?

    Thanks

    That's a great tip, I'll give it a try.
