    Project Honda CB1100 EX Renders

    I will show my Renders done with Lightwave new Renderengine to close the WIP Thread. I will render some more Closeviews, but only for my own Website, so i hope you like my Shots.

    For me is 3 Month of modeling such things ok. I have had no Blueprints, only Reference Fotos, so a lot of time i needed to study the Parts and model it as detailed as possible, so i think thats ok too. And the 3rd point to me is, why should i go fast when there is no client date to finish it...its a hobbyist Project and i know a lot of Hobby Projects that never finish


    ahhh...i see, you sell Modeler Plugins, with that package it coud be faster thats sure and i am not against plugins, but as hobbyist its a question of money

    This is really great! How do you do the headlight and turn signals? Is that geo or image map?

    Headlight and Turnsignals

    GEO, because PBR Renderer and because of a very open Headlight...maybe the Turnsignals could also be done with Bumpmaps, but i would like to reflect the Light in different angles, so it works best for me.

    Holy cr@p! Those lights are incredible... do you find the renders are quite slow when those are raytraced? Guess it doesn't matter when they look THAT good... great work!

    Normal Mashine....4770K CPU, 16 GB Ram, GTX 1080 Ti...the whole Honda LWO is only 21 MB, so it works on my old Laptop ...hey, its 2018, not 1985
