    FiberFX cluster texturing difference

I've textured fibers with a color noise so each fiber would be colored differently. It works good with a cluster value of 1 but when I raise cluster value to 2 patches of fibers get the same color+still some randomization but the constant color is obvious for each underlying polygon which is not desired. How do I work around this problem ?

I'm unable to unpack your .rar file. I use 7Zip for compression / decompression, but it won't open your uploaded file. Sorry!

Also, what version of LW are you using?

mTp, try updating to the latest version of 7Zip. I'm able to extract Boris' file just fine with the latest version.

OK, thanks, yes the upgraded 7zip opened the archive.

I don't see the patch problem in LW2018.0.2, BUT I'm not running Octane. Loading the scene I had to say "No" to requests to load-from-disk for Octane nodes (Octane Diffuse Material and Octane Texture Image). Someone else running Octane will have to test it, but I'd say it's the Octane shaders.

Native LW2018.0.2 render (plain gray fibers):

You have to apply noise texture to fibers. Here is how it looks in native LW renderer, the same :

Here is the native LW scene:
