    Streaming on youtube

I can not stream 1080p on youtube. I have set the bit rate to 4K. stream settings are set to 1280x720x2048K. I have tried various settings. the camera outputs 1080P. the best i can get is 720.

I am using a mini standard

    Your help would be appreciated

    Bill

The Mini with Standard Edition only supports 720p streaming. You could create your own 1080p streaming profile, but no guarantee the Mini can keep up the encoding load if doing a lot of other things.

    Thanks

Upgrading to Advanced Edition allows for 1080p streaming with a new streaming engine that supports the YouTube streaming API, along with better quality encoding.

I upgraded JUST for this feature. I still cannot stream. I spent $2,500 on the promise of click simple to stream. All I get is a message that the stream is not configed properly. Back to you tube, back to tricaster, back to youtube, back to tricaster and so the merry go round of madness. Why does someone not make a DEDICATED video showing how to set up a stream with tricaster that actually works out of the box. VERY frustrating indeed.

All I have to do is configure for the resolution I want. Login to my YouTube account from the TriCaster streaming panel. Select the event I want to stream (Stream Now) Then click the Live Stream button on the interface. A few seconds later I can see the stream on YouTube.

You should probably look at your YouTube configuration for the 'Event' you are trying to stream. I didn't have to do anything special there but I just used Stream Now, a previously configured event may have conflicting settings.
