    polygon reduction tool

Since I've upgraded, I've lost the use of qemmloss 3, which I found to be an invaluable tool for reducing the poly count of some models. Can anyone recommend a good tool that's not too expensive? Ive tried mesh lab and instant mesh, but
haven't had much success with either. thanks

Gemmloss isn't that just an early form of 'Reduce Polys +' found in the Construction tab. If in correct then it's still in 2015.3

the link on the lightwave plugins website is a dead end. How am I supposed to get the plg plugin if there's no website? Otterman, yes the version ni 2015 is qemmloss 2 I believe, (I could be wrong), but I'm sure it isn't version 3, which was what I've been using.

OK, I found the website, which is true art support http://www2.trueart.pl/?URIType=Dire...ducts/Plug-Ins, but I don't see any tool for polygon reduction. Thanks daforum for the link, I've seen that tool before, and it looks pretty attractive right now. Guess I'll have to fork up the money for a descent decimator tool.

I wasn't aware of qemmloss 3 until this discussion but found the archived source on archive.org

It has been some years now but 3D Browser by Mootools has a pretty advanced polygon cruncher, don't know what it costs though
