    nuArchitect Bundle released

    Hi together,

now it's finally done. The nuArchitect Bundle is ready.

At first a big thank you to Markus from 3dworks for doing some MAC tests in the early time of nuArchitect Bundle. Because of a test via mail is not the fastest option, I have looked for a MAC. And I found a 2nd Hand one at low cost. So I was able to do the final tests for MAC's.

I decided to release this bundle as Donationware. This means, you can use the software for free, but if you enjoy it, please donate via PayPal to [email protected]. This will enhance the chance for updates and new scripts.

The bundle is packed in 3 zip files. In the file "nuArBunHelp.zip" you will find a file called "Install.html". Open this file in your browser and follow the instructions to install the bundle.

I would be happy to get some responce to this bundle.

    nuArBunDat.zip
    nuArBunLS.zip
    nuArBunHelp.zip
    nuArBunHelpImg1.zip
    nuArBunHelpImg2.zip
    nuArBunHelpImg3.zip
    nuArBunHelpImg4.zip

Because of upload Problems, the Images for the helpsystem are splitted in 4 files. You have to copy the files from the splitted files into the "img" Folder of your "Help" Folder. the files "nuArBunHelpImg1", "nuArBunHelpImg2", "nuArBunHelpImg3" and "nuArBunHelpImg4" should be handled as if they where in "nuArBunHelp".
I hope this does not lead to complications.

It may be useful to include a couple of screenshots and a description of what these do, its not too clear from the zip names

Personally I don't like downloading files 'blind' without knowing what they actually do (especially if they are zips).

    congratulations for the release, karl!!

very happy to do the first tests for you and glad you found a mac as well, in the end. ;-)

these scripts are really useful and rather unique tools especially for those doing archiz with LW, but i guess there are a lot of other applications as well if you want to use them 'creatively'...

    cheers

If you only want to look at examples, than there are the files nuArBunHelp.zip as well as nuArBunHelpImg1-4.zip, they include tons of example pics as well as a Brief description to each script. As you can see, there are tons of files, so pleas accept that there are not a ton pictures here as well. I hope this description is enough to you.

lot's of them are great to create building details - mostly in a historic scene context. but there are universal tools as well among them which could be used for modern buildings. best is to download them and then the help system will guide you through them ;-)

Hi all Users of the old nuArchitect.ls

Markus from 3dworks informed me over an issue that can happen, especially on MAC. If you used the old version, than you should go in any of the geometry creating scripts, Switch to the preferences tab and look at the path. If the last letter of the path says "\" on PC or "/" on MAC, than remove the last letter and klick "Store". If you don't do so, the helpsystem on MAC will not work correct. On PC this is no problem, it seems like PC is in this Thing more tollerant.

Very nice work, curious how much time you have into the project as a whole?

    Hi TeotiGraphix,

I do not know the exact amount of time. But I estimate about 230 to 250 hours, the time for developing nuArchitect.ls first version not included.
