    Moving dashed line on path

    Hello all,
Simple question I think. I'd like to make a planes flightpath across the country and have it made of moving dashes from start point to end.
What could I use to do this??

that would give me a series of boxes along a path, but I was thinking of having the texture move along the path.
There are several flightpaths to do so applying a grid procedural transparancy doesnt work.

Create the object like mentioned and then use one of the following tools/ techniques to make them move/ bend on the paths:

    BoneChainMorph (http://www.mdarts.com)

SplineDeformer (part of LW 7.5b and c)

    FI's ZBend
    PG_A
    Shift SplineTransform

Good enough? I sure hope so! ;o). Look the plugins up on http://www.flay.com

... ahh and don't forget Serpent, which has been part of LW since 6.0.

    hi there

Perhaps you should look into clip maps and use Fi's bezier bend
