    Help with Unity Integration

    Hello there

I'm trying to import a LW scene into Unity for the first time. I followed all the steps posted on Unity's website and though I'm able to import all the assets into the Unity project file without any errors my .lws never turns into an .fbx as it is supposed. Does anyone has an idea on how to solve this?

Tnx in advance for your help.

If you can import it in Unity it already is a fbx file. You could RMB click in your project bin and click on show in finder/explorer to locate the file.

If you want to export .fbx straight into Unity and have the .lws update it use the LightWaveAppLink.pkg in the newtek/support folder. You save your LW package in the Unity Project dir. you're working on and any changes made in modeler then saved in layout, will update the .fbx file in Unity.

The simplest would be to tell us exactly what you're doing step by step. It works very well but there are several sensitive points (indicate the directory of LightWave in the AppLink, the name of the scene, create the content tree, thinking to save in the Layout and then return to Unity, etc...).
