ID:	124238 I'm fairly new to Lightwave. I'm not sure why the render screen in lightwave shows the colors and tones I want but the output file is always so dark. Any suggestions?

This sounds like a color space issue.

If you go to you options window and to color space, what is your display and saved file setting?

Yes, I can see on the display that your render output is set to linear and the display is set to sRGB, the output needs to be set set to rgb. Just use the sRGB preset in the color space options.
