    Modest Request: Weight Map view in Layout

    Something tells me there's MULTIPLE work-arounds and commercial solutions for this one, BUT:

    Shouldn't (ha! "Shoudn't") there be an EASY, NATIVE way of viewing the Weight Map on a given object in Layout???

    Seems almost crazy there isn't, and I don't mean a "dood, just w.map the luminosity channel!" type solution: I mean a real, don't-make-the-user-jump-thru-a-damn-hoop method.

    I'm thinking something as easy as choosing "Weight Map" in the Scene Editor view column-- I think users would much prefer an object-by-object option than a global mode.

    this is really bugging me soooooooo much that i cant even comment properly... a weighting tool and viewer... should be first in their list.....

    Y'know, it's not even something >>I<< would need that often, but I bet character animators would KILL for it.
