I'm always surprised when the Knife doesn't work on Curves...... It would be SO useful, and I asked for it a decade ago.

At least, that's what I think is the mindset of devs is when they ask people to fogbugz feature requests if they have good and detailed input to provide like Erikals often does.
Yep, that would be the way to do it, and one item per report would make for good tracking of each individual problem as it is fixed.

The first reply on the thread was from LW3DG's Matt Gorner.

all well and good for something small as per the demo but I hate to think of the clutter or drag on performance when working on something larger, true most software does this already but LW's antiquated method of storing model info does not cope well with what it does already let alone anything extra

LwCAD does it with ease... >

also we will get the Hydra upate, hopefully in not too long, which will speed up Modeler operations

    should be no problemo \:]

and I thought the same too right after I posted, but the point is any LW native (not third party) dialogue box tends to be very slow with more than a handful of information, try opening point info on anything with more than a hundred polygons in it

  10. #55

yep, luckily this will work like LwCad

i definetly see the concern though, and if it gets to be slower than LwCad it's a no-go...
but i think it should be quite doable

and hopefully Hydra will improve some things...

This'd be a lot more believable if LW3DG folks were the ones repeating it, instead of just users.

THEY've been burned beCore ()? You surely mean other way around - right ? More like users have been burned.....
