So I created a simple Talk Show set...

I made this with VideoCopilot Element 3D in After Effects. It includes Center Wide, Center Tight, Left and Right angles. I exported single frames from After Effects to Photoshop layers, then created the final Photoshop file from the instructions in the VSE manual. I have a problem with reading comprehension and prefer video tutorials for learning. I find myself having to read the same paragraph 3-4 times before I comprehend it. For this reason, I didn't really 'get' what the input layer instructions were saying. I ended up creating empty layers that were correctly named, but not interpreted correctly by VSE. So I have gone back and read it 4 more times and believe that empty layers for input A are exactly the wrong thing to do. I have typed the word "TALENT" on the input A layer for each angle, hoping that this will solve the problem of the input layers not showing up in a TriCaster project. I'm wondering if some brave soul will download my zipped .psd file and confirm or deny that it's working as it should. The set has no furniture, as our intent is to use real furniture on the round stage. There will be two comfy chairs at 45 degrees to the center camera and probably a square coffee table of the glass and chrome variety. I'm uploading a image in which I dropped in a couple of .obj comfy chairs to help you visualize what I'm going for.

There is a sample PSD file that VSE comes with that will help you with this.

I see... must go look for that. Let's hope it's called "sample".

Well, that was all I needed. And now here is my talk show set with a large monitor behind the talent for input B. Everything is working perfectly. Thank you, Jose for pointing out the example .PSDs. Perfect.

In the sample PSD, look over the layers as it will share how to achieve this.
