    Output Number Format

In the scene file it is called: OutputFilenameFormat
In render globals it is just referred to as: Format (Name_0001.xxx for example)

Is there any command in the SDK to change this? I have tried looking through the python docs as well as doing a help(lwsdk.LWSceneInfo()) and nothing comes up. I also remember this being a problem in Lscript. Anyone have any ideas besides parsing the scene file and changing it that way?

    Thanks

    Hi Chris,

Nothing in the SDK, also had a quick search on the groups on google nothing there either. Only seems to be a manual changeable option, like a lot of other options. Note that the options changed between different versions of Lightwave, if your only using one version e.g 11.5 then that won't be a problem, but if you have a mix of versions e.g. 9.6 or 10 then the options and their indexed postions have changed.

    Regards

    Iain

Thanks for confirming my suspicions Iain. I figured as much but it never hurts to ask Also, I believe the index change happened between 9.6 and 9.61.
