    Textures

Hi all. I purchased a coin from Turbosquid. I open the object and it looks good (see attached). I paste it into another object and the textures are gone (see attached). Any ideas?

My guess is that it is using a surface that already exists in the second object. For example if the coin in the original object is using Default surface, and you copy and paste it into another object that has a Default surface, it will not replace the surface. So my suggestion would be to rename the surface before copying it over to the other object.

Most likely it's a UV texture and your UV map doesn't exist on the new object.
