    Image Sequence Saving???

    What is the preferred Image format, for saving Image Seqeunces?

    Tga32
    Tga24
    Png24
    Png32

    or ???



    I then load it up in QT save it as a .Mov..

    And Also save it out as a Win Media format...
    Intel Core i7-980, OC 4.7ghz water cooled.
    Gigabyte x58-UD3R with an Intell SSD 180GIG

    Nvidia Titan Z, x 2 And 1 GTX-1080 by Gigabyte.

    I use TGA. Many use PNG. I often use JPG just for the preliminary and tests.

    The 32 is only of use if you are using the Alpha.

    If you are not using solid colors a first generation jpg is pretty much artifact free, so it is a viable solution if you are low on space. If you need higher quality or alpha channel then PNGs have loss-less compression so I see no reason to use TGAs.

    OpenEXR Float32bit with or without EXRtrader. Great for comping purpose...
