    Iron man

Hi! I'm a character modeler from Italy.
I'm planning to do a 3d short on this. I already have a storyboard and currently doing animatic. It's a project on my spare time.
About six days of work 2/3 hours a day. Now I'll model the suit interiors and Tony Stark. Everything is subpatch, all quads, every piece is separated from others and have its own thickness. I didn't modeled exactly the suit from the first film, I've only took that as a starting point. 150k poly so far. These are screeshots from modeler with SP level set to 1
Also a basic render to show hdri reflections.

Wow, great modeling! I don't think I would have the patience to model something like that, so I give you credit. Lots of detail going on there. Good luck on the short.

All quads? I found some tris on the helmet .

    Thank you!
You're right there are 4 tris in the helmet, mainly because of the screws, to not disrupt the polyflow.. Good eyes!

Great modeling going on! Just one thing I noticed right away is that the hands look a bit too small on the full body render.

Keep us posted on your progress

Very good overall. But yes the hands do look small and there's something not right about the shoulders. They're either too high or they're not offset enough from the body. If you have any reference images from the front or back, I would check that.

Thank you! Yes, I've to fix some proportions, it has been a sort of speed-modeling until now

I will search for some accurate references, but yes as I told above I placed the pieces eyeballing them.. I'll fix the placement for sure later on. Thanks for feedback!

Here we are, some updates.. new bigger arms (with sliding missiles launcher to be rigged) and hands, a more masculine abdominal/torso area, bigger shoulders..

    Dang, dude
My only critique is that it seems to be a little too grey at the moment
Every time I think about Marvin the Paranoid Android, I realize just how good my life is.

excellent model. maybe the fingers are too thin yet and the shoulders and arms are located far ahead, but the rest is amazing.

    good luck
