    hair behind voxels workaround?

I've known for some time that FFX won't render if there's hypervoxels present in front of it. Has anyone come up with a workaround for this? I've just created a new scene, having forgotten about the problem, and upon first test render, there it is again! It's starting to get bloody annoying.

Rendering separate and then comping is one way and has many other advantages, you could also try baking the HV if it's the Volume kind.
