You forgot to mention Fl's Extender's brilliant symmetry abilities too! This plugin is the best!

Hmmm, I use the Poz Extender, works very good.

If I need a bigger point selection I use the PlaneBelt_Selector.

And sometimes, if I have 2 vertices and need a new polygone. All I need to do is using LW's Extender...and Voila ,I've a New polygone

Sure, I've the other extender. But Poz Extender is the best for me.

    okay...Cya.

well poz belt it stuf from the old dark ages
band saw or pro doing the selction stuff now in lw !
poz has the limitation to select points in order this sucks

Sorry, but BandSaw can't select vertices (it select only new made verticeS)
I mean PlaneBelt-Selector select a Vertices/Point Row...For example if U have a long long poly line (in a big size object), selecting the points with the laso take to much time...
just mark two points use the pb-selecter and he select the row, finish

    I like that...

    Tip:

I have quick key Home linked to Extender, Insert linked to Weld, and that way Extender, Weld and Delete are all next to one another, which is handy when modelling organic surfaces!

band saw also selct "old" polylines
well if you need points selected :
    i use this tool

    #
    sel_point_chain

    http://plaza17.mbn.or.jp/~PICTRIX/index2.html

"Will select points based on the direction of the first two selected. Deals with a variety of error conditions which stop other similar plug-ins from completing selections."

    Lightbulb hehe

may be poz extender is good(I think so~~)
But,it can't work at 7.5b.Because the new Lscript.
    it 's a .lsfile.
so that it working a bit slow at a heavy polygons model.
    Now,I use the FI'...Extender..it works good~~moreover,
    it's a .p file.

    poz is now DI2

poz .ls goes .p and with soem new features

it need no longer clockwise selction you can lassoing the points!

and when you selct a polygoen it will bevil this.
fl#s will trace for the edges in the case of polygone selction.
