Where can I find the old LightWave tutorials?

There used to be a few pages worth of links to all sorts of older LightWave tutorials (Not the LW9 videos) that covered many different topics, many of which are still useful. Some were videos but many where written. Where have they all gone. Have they been archived somewhere?

I hope tutorials are shown a little more care when Core is released.

Are these what you were looking for:

    http://web.archive.org/web/200312030...als/index.html

I was looking for them as was someone else, I was glad to find that link from R.Feeney.

Ah, thanks... I forgot about the wayback machine...
I was hoping that they were archived somewhere on the new site...

Here's a wayback link that gives NewTek.com through the ages.
    http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://newtek.com

And here's one that gives all the versions of the tutorials page.
    http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://...als/index.html

Here's the latest version of that page in the wayback machine that I was looking for...
    http://web.archive.org/web/200710260...ave/tutorials/

looks like many of the tutorials can still be viewed/downloaded from within the wayback machine. (Grab em' while there're hot. ;-)

BTW: New fangled video tutorials are nice and all, but often too slow and take too long to view as well as too much space to save them all... In many instances I much prefer the written tutorials... which are quicker to digest and can be searched and browsed much quicker than scrubbing through video tutorials trying to find something... especially since spotlight can search them all without making me open them all.

Most of all the old tutorials can be found here:

    http://newtek.com/lightwave_old/tutorials/

just add the '_old' after the lightwave dir... like:
    http://www.newtek.com/lightwave_old/...ral/index.html

We are in the middle of gathering up all tutorials and making a new, central home for them.

    Great thanks Andrew!

Some of them are somewhat out of date of course, but they still have lots of valuable information. I'm glad to see they are being archived.

    Great job!

Here's a written tutorial that I recently did for nose construction. Silk Rooster turned it into a PDF file for me to make it more viewer friendly.

Is this the kind of thing you're looking for?

    BTW--I'm on ver. 8.5.
