    Weekend of fun...

This is a sample of a fantasy scene that I produced over the weekend.

It was a practice run for me to generate a digital ecosystem and to try LW 9.5 and Vue Xtream together.

The castle and Griffin were produced with Lightwave 9.5 - the hue of the griffin composite was adjusted with Photoshop.

The castle was inspired by the Miraz Castle from 'The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe'.

I knocked up the Griffin as well to add to the fantasy theme.

    Regards, Jet

    Very cool. Very World-of-Warcraft-ish.
Playing guitar is an endless process of running out of fingers.

Nice.... although the environment looks suspiciously like one of the sample files from Vue 5 and 6...!

Yes - the Environment was taken from a Vue scene. I used the rock formations. Stripped and repopulated the scene with trees as a test.

This is meant to test the intergration between the two programs - see how they render with my lightwave models. ie. the Griffin and Castle.

Looks good.. however I think the griffin looks "pasted" to the big picture.
    Other than that, great.

Does Vue and lw 9.5 work well together?
You have to hand it to Vue.. Its REALY good at what it does.
Is the whole scene renderedout as a singel frame or does vue give you one frame and lw one for you to composit?
