    Question LW and Ubuntu?

I have a couple of Lightwave render farm related questions. I'm thinking of adding some more computers to a render farm that don't have operating systems and I don't really want to buy Windows (Especially Vista) for each one.

1> Can you run a LW render node on Ubuntu?
2> Can you map a network drive in Ubuntu the same way you map one in Windows?

I haven't had a chance to try it myself yet but was wondering if anyone already new the answers to these questions.

    Thanks in advance,
    Dan

I tried running lw (not with screamernet) using Kubuntu and it works great. Like biliousfrog says there is a tutorial for setting up screamernet.
