    I could certainly do that. But was wondering if there was a faster way to transcode the file into something that Final Cut would accept. I guess another way to do this would be to capture in real time from the video outs into another computer running FCP, just requires a second computer.

    Hi,

    that's what we do at the moment.
    Send the signal from our tricaster broadcast via SDI to our FCP and record for further editing.
