    Pouring powder into a liquid

The Siggraph demo from Greg Sullivan was PERFECT for this, but

One particle emitter is used for the dry powder, pretty basic.

When my particles hit the surface, I have a new emitter start at that point, having them spread out slowly, growing a little. For these, I'm using sprites and a gradient to make them grow over time.

A copy of my "cup" is facing inwards and is a collision object (to contain the particles), but the glow of the sprites still expands beyond the cup. The particles themselves stop where they're supposed to.

Is it possible to get the glows to stop there as well?

It should be possible with nodes, so you'll need Dpont's "Node Volume" (the node editor for hypervoxels). You need to tell Lightwave which part of the hypervoxel to render, and which part not.

Check out this thread, it should give you the information you need : link. It's the same thing (same principle I mean).

    Question

Is there any tutorial or link to a tutorial available for this powder into liquid idea?
    Curious
