    Modelling question

hey, im not sure if this is the right place to post this, but, im not really that new to 3d, however i am new to lightwave,

I was using the freeware Blender, in blender there is an easy function where you can scale vertices or points to an axis,

say if you had a 45 degree 6 point line not evenly straight, but you wanted it to be flat along a certain axis?

    sorry if this is confusing

    Thanks heaps for your troubles,

    Shannon

Yep it's confusing (to me at least) 'coz i can't reach what you are trying to do .

In LW modeler you have Action center modes and you can constrain rotation to 15 degree rotations with holding CTRL mouse button. also you can try using Rove tool for better visual move/rotate but be sure to have numeric panel open ("n" key is shortcut for numeric).

If you select all the points or polygons you want levelled, you can press v to open the Set Value tool.
Then enter the value and the axis you need (e.g. Y at 0 will drop them to the 'ground').
