First, the input alpha of ImageFilter node editor didn't work
properly, this has been fixed in the last x32 update,

I don't see a Store ExtraBuffer node in your surface node setup,
but I supposed you want input in the alpha buffer something
like your reflection texture layer, but the nodal system doesn't
provide any access to the classic texture
(except in the experimental Shader node editor with the Spot Surface node in the Beta forum...),

but you could use the Render Buffer node in IFNE to output the LW Mirror buffer in alpha (you need to check the Mirror box in the rootpanel),
or move your texture reflection settings in the node editor and
ouput them in a Store ExtraBuffer node.

where do I find each of the nodes on my system, in particular the render buffer node....

Please identify source of each node in example workflow, specifically Gamma Corrrector. Also, there are TWO Mixer nodes... what is difference of application of each version?

May be you are speaking about the Curve Filter node
which is included in DP_Kit, it is more a color tweaking tool,
    http://perso.orange.fr/dpont/plugins...l_Nodes_2.html
but you could also use the Color Corrector utility of db&w,
which is included and free in the InfiniMap node pack and has
    a gamma parameter.

The mixer node for Filter NE is almost the same than LW native
but with a more appropriate square preview for compositing.

    Denis,

I just found download link for your DP Kit, complete. awesome!!!

I have not been visiting user forums regularly...

THere is a Gamma Corrector node being used in the example existing in this message thread.. has that node been renamed to Gamma Corrector, or is there a Gamma Corrector node available someplace...

thank you immensely for your contributions.. AWESOME!!!

You can find a gamma correction in infinimap node utility
    from Michael Wolf:

Hey Denis, would it be possible to request an increase in the buffers? Right now you can get 12 greyscale channels, but in some cases i've needed to use coloured buffers (3) and all 3 alpha/greyscale buffers and have run out! Maybe increase it from 6 or 16?

win32 and win64 versions of Filter node editors, dedicated nodes and Extra Buffer nodes
are now included in one module, called DP Filter available for Lightwave 9.0 to 9.3.1.
(Older saved scenes with previous standalone nodes could fail to load because
    of changes in plugin names).

Download is on bottom of this page,
    http://perso.orange.fr/dpont/plugins...ml#NodeImgFilt

-Improved Blur node closer to LW Full Precision Blur Filter plugin.
-Image Filter NE improved for pre-process usage in Image Editor.
-New Tone Map node for Image Filter node editor, based on Erik Reinhard's algorithm,
doing tone map correction of any HDR color input in preprocess or postprocess mode,
for previewing a larger image use Image Viewer or Viper.

    Bug fixes,
-In IFNE, resulted image, x coordinate was one pixel displaced to right.
-In PFNE fixed a memory leak.
-A Missing sample in positive Classic MotionBlur for ExtraBuffer.
-Extra Buffers was not cleaned up correctly with ACT cameras.

Note that DP Kit' Curve Filter node has been updated with a "Replace"
mode, to modify both luminance and color of an input image or buffer
in a better way (still using the graph editor).

Thank you very much, Denis. The tonemap node is so useful! and quality of Blur node is impressive. The other improvements are great news as well!

    Thanks again,

DP Filter has been updated to fix some issues in Tone Map node,
it didn't work with Lanczos & Mitchell reconstruction filter,
and didn't work properly with multi evaluation (i.e: separated
    ouput rgb channels).
Thanks to Marvin for x64 compile, and to Gerardo for testing.

First of all, thank you dpont, thank you very much !

As I understand, it is currently impossible to have this wonderful tool work in combination with the photoreal motion blur setting, correct ? Which really is a shame, since getting the same quality of motion blur with the classic setting is impossible, not to mention the tremendous increase in render time.

I've added a little something that I think might help some people. A simple node setup to generate mattes which should work with reflections and transparency !

    Thank you again !
