    Tricaster Pro Windows Updates-Stupid Question

Since it's not recommended that we download additional software to Tricaster, how are we to handle the issue of Windows XP updates?

I'm going to answer this first one myself with the assumption that one should keep the Tricaster current with Windows releases. However, things like Zone Alarm, or Spybot, really should NOT be loaded, (for performance issues) is that correct?

In that case, if one uses the Tricaster for webcasting frequently, isn't there a danger of virus (or other) infection? Would a hardware router and/or a VPN connection to the bandwidth provider be enough protection?

    Thanks.

Yes, a router is a sufficient protection when TriCaster is online.
As for Windows updates, yes, you can install them.
Don't stream it - TriCast it!
