    TMPGEnc

    Hello I can not see the TMPGEnc codec in toaster edit. Which one should I install?

    TMPGEnc is a MPEG encoder you can buy.

    It's not a "codec" that you use in VT-EDIT.

    The classic TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 is just $37, which is an amazing deal for what it is.

    What is the best way to make a dvd from a VT project? I would like the best quality. Are there different softwares that works with RTV?

    The least expensive way is to get the TMPGEnc software to encode your project file (if it works) or your rendered file (avi is fine, but RTV will work if you run the 3rd party app install in the VT4 start menu) and then Author the DVD using DVD Workshop that is included with VT4.

    You also need to READ - read past posts in this forum and other forums - DVD creation (BEST quality) is an art of itself.
