    Muting

    I vote for muting also ...but "muting" of a video track/layer as well as audio.

    :agree: I'm in for muting also.
    If this can't be done on a "track" basis, how about selecting a clip & when hitting Mute, the clip turns "greyed out" (because currently if you wanted to "mute" a video or audio without the other associated it would remove it).

    I like that (ghosting the sample) -- similar to what I had suggested above. One added thought: this should work with multiple selections, too.

    Well, once a single clip can be muted, muting a whole track isn't too far off really. The logic isn't a lot different.
