    Object being saved as jpg

Occassionally, when I save a new model for the first time In Lightwave 9. LW saves the object file as a jpg instead of a lwo file. I don't know if this is a bug or something. Or if I'm posting this in the right place.

Any help would be appreiciated, thanks.

    Another cool lightwave feature...

Ha Ha, sorry to laugh, but that is pretty funny, so if you open the jpg in photoshop does it give you a rendered image of the model, now that would be a cool feature.......

If you change the extension from jpg. to lwo. will it open in modeler???

Only thing i could think if is that lightwave has mixed up plugins somehow, i would rescan your plugins and if that doesnt work, delete your config files.

Let us know how you get on.

Fraid not, it comes up as a corrupt file. Opens back up in modeler fine.

Try deleting you config files. I beleive the line in the modeler config file has been changed for some reason. Once the config files have been deleted, you will have to reset your content directory and rescan your plugins.

If you are using windows xp, try c:\Documents and Settings\user name
Also doing a search for *.cfg will also find them.
