    Saving a pose

I have a character that I have rigged in LW. I have that character in a pose in one scene that I need him in that same pose in another scene. Is there a way to save a character's pose (like in Maya)?

Could always save the rigged character in a scene containing nothing else and Load Object from Scene.

Or if you just need the character static, you could use Save Trans Object (Trans short for Transformed) and bring it in that way.

Have you tried the "Import From Scene" button in Layout, Items tab?

Thanks for the replies guys. If I import from scene, then I have TWO of the same characters in my scene. Now I can do a substitute and hide thing on a certain frame I guess with the second character. That might be my best workaround - but it's not the ideal solution. I do all my CA in Maya, and I got caught this once rigging it in LW, and d'oh, needed a save pose button.

But again, thanks for the suggestions.

You might want to check out the pose saver mentioned in this thread:

Wow, thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for! I'll give it a whirl.
