Help! Need a way to break apart an objects poly's in LW9 Modeler for exploding?

Is there an easy way [using its' tools or a plugin] that works n LW9 Modeler to break apart an object into pieces for exploding with dynamics in Layout? I tried C4 and it doesn't work.

I'd really hate to have to create all of the parts manually with cut and paste. It could get tedious to do that with a thousand pieces!!

Any ideas? Any helpwould be appreciated!!

Give CrackIt a try - sounds like what you're looking for. http://www.flay.com/GetDetail.cfm?ID=1622

Crackit! works great with LW9 Modeler!! Just wish it could make smaller pieces[more iteratioins]. Guess I'll need to make my objects [window panes in a building] as seperate pieces. Or is there a setting to help with this?

    Many thanks!!

You could use the 'Distribute pieces to empty layers' tick box and then use crackit on every layer to make smaller pieces. When you are ready you can use the 'Mergehighlayers' to merge all layers to one.

Thanks for the tip! Never thought of doing that.

Now if I can just get my head around doing the exploding part in Layout [9] using hard dynamics [I think].

Proton in EasySplit video made example of broken glass.. It can be seen here. It's from older v1.0 and for that time Sub-Patch and Symmetry support has been added.
