    "Allocating Segment Buffers?"

I notice right at the end of my renders, I see in the status panel, "Allocating Segment Buffers"

Anyone know what this is and whether it can be checked on or off?

    Thanks!

Under your 'Camera Render Options' panel is a numeric field where U enter the total theoretical amount of RAM you want Lightwave to set aside as a buffer or work space in which to store the various segments of information that it needs to composit in order to produce a final render, the figure U enter here determines the number of segments you render is split-up into in the render prevue and how fast the render executes ( one segment is best)
