    timelapse decay?

    Hi,

Ive been asked if I can create a time lapse animation on a shipwreck decaying. We need to see the wooden hull decay and twist (or what ever it does) over a few seconds. Im planning on using a combination of keyframing, morphing and animated bump and texture maps but was wondering if anyone has any better ideas on how I could do this?

    Many Thanks

    Matt

sounds cool, i would like to see it when done, or along the way.

is it under water? some hypervoxel fungus/barnicle growth might be a nice effect.

yes thats a good point! As the ship decays life will develop. There will probably be an increase in plant life as well. As always though the thing I need to bear in mind is the budget means I need to do this in about five days so I need to keep it quite simple.

    Thanks
